October '06 First Friday - Milwaukee Co. Domestic Violence Issues
The St. Thomas More Lawyers Society of Wisconsin First Friday Group will meet Friday, October 6, 2006. Our speaker will be Paul Dedinsky who is an Assistant District Attorney and the Director of the Domestic Violence Unit for the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office. Paul will speak on domestic violence issues. The
Milwaukee District Attorney's Office typically reviews nearly 10,000 misdemeanor and felony domestic violence cases annually.
As usual, mass will begin at 7:30 A.M. in the Chapel of the Holy Family located on the 2nd floor of the Marquette Memorial Union (15th and Wells). Mass will be followed by a presentation and discussion from 8:00 - 9:00 A.M. over a continental breakfast (suggested donation $4.00) in Room 305 of the same building. Parking is available on Wells Street or in one of the nearby campus lots.
