Pope Benedict XVI on the consequences of "White lies"

Calling on the tradition of St. Thomas More, our Pope, writing at the time as Cardinal Ratzinger, links the willingness to lie with greater moral decay.

First Friday - General Information

The Society holds it's "First Friday" mass and discussion group at 7:30am on the first Friday of each month in the Chapel of the Holy Family, which is located in Marquette University's Alumni Memorial Union. The discussion runs from 8:00 - 9:00am following the mass, and is is held over continental breakfast (suggested donation $4). Guest speakers frequently provide expertise on various contemporary issues that arise in the modern world and confront people of faith in their lives as well as in the practice of law.

The Union is located at the heart of the Marquette University Campus, bordered on the north and south by W. Wells and W. Wisconsin Avenues, between 13th and 14th Streets. Metered parking is generally available on Wells St. , and may also be available in one of the neighboring University Parking lots.
